The MASST Program is a temporary employment and training program with an emphasis on helping experienced workers return to the workforce. Wasilla Area Senior Center has training opportunities available for Maintanance Workers if you qualify. Eligible participants in the MASST Program are 55 years of age or older, unemployed, and low income, according to federal income guidelines. Participants are assigned to local nonprofit or public agencies, also called “host agencies,” for an average of 20 hours per week. The Housing Manager is responsible for the administration, management and delivery of all housing programs, services and properties under the management of WASI. The Manager is responsible for six housing units and the annual budget. He/she may be responsible for managing a staff of 2 and directly supervises the following positions: Housing Admin Assistant Tenant Relations Volunteer Main Responsibilities: Manage and administer all housing programs, services and properties in order to ensure they are delivered and maintained in an effective and efficient manner: Main Activities Administer the Housing Management Agreement Implement and administer policies and procedures Manage properties and programs Build relationships and liaise with other organizations Consult and negotiate with the appropriate entities Manage and supervise contracts and contractors Respond to and manage crisis and/or emergency situations Manage "Housing" office procedures, ensure that filing systems are maintained and comply with the Access to Information Act A full description of job duties will be available at the time of the interview.

Job Description  
Assist elderly or disabled adults with daily living activities at the person's home or in a daytime non-residential facility.
