We also provide Home Delivered Meals to those who qualify.

WASI operates the Floyd D. Smith Senior Citizen Center that serves the
seniors of the Greater Wasilla Alaska area.
We provide hot meals, transportation, social activities, senior housing,
and much more!
We are open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Our purpose is not profit driven, but rather we seek to promote honor,
dignity, security, and independence for older Alaskans and to help them
maintain healthy, meaningful, quality lives.

Mission Statement:
Wasilla Area Seniors was organized in 1981 with a mission to serve the needs of individuals age 60 and over as a Senior Center, and to fulfill the promise of the Older Americans Act of 1965. This Act established many of the senior programs in existance today. Our goal is to provide a full range of services to the senior population in the Wasilla, Knik/Goose Bay, Big Lake, Meadow Lakes, and the Valley Core areas. These services include senior housing, meals, transportation, information services, and social activities. We strive to serve as a local social center providing activities that promote senior and community goodwill.
